Tons of Love!
So sorry I haven't been around much lately, too much life going on at the moment! :)
I made today's card for Nina's challenge over at There's Magic in the Air. You had to use her super cute image "Tons of Love" and RBGS (Red Ribbon, Buttons, Glitter, or Something Sparkly). Considering the weather here lately, I was in definite need of something sparkly! I colored my image with my new Copics (I heart them) , added some red and silver Stickles for my glitter. I used some red yard that has sparklies running through it, I kept this off my Christmas present from my Granny, then, used a red Prima with a button. Next, I layered it all over some grey and black and red cardstock with a little sparkly teal DP and topped it off my sentiment and some rhinestones! Hope that is sparkly enough! tee hee

Another Blog Hop!
I'm participating in another MyGrafico Blog Hop!
I made this card with their bingo cards! The best part is, they are a FREE download! I really had fun making this card. I colored the "Love" on the bingo card with my Copics (finally got a set of 36 from Joanns, woo hoo!). After coloring, I went over the red with my Spica clear glitter pen then I went over that with my new glaze pen! Of course I distressed all the edges and stamped "love you" on the bottom. I used one of my new dollar stamps and made the love ticket. I used a chipboard "B" that is covered in red glitter then tied some pink yarn around it and put a heart pen through it. Now, I'm sure you are wondering what the "B" is for, well on Julia's card, that I used for inspiration, she stamped "Mine" inside so it will read "B Mine". But, since I don't want mine to be exactly like hers I am going to stamp "my Valentine" inside. Top it off with some lace and there you have it! I was going to give this to my husband but he said no, he's seen it, I'll have to make another one! lol Men. I can't wait to hear what you think!!

Custom Christmas Cards
Warning: Long Post
Three more shopping days left! Scary! I hope everyone is done or almost done with their shopping! We just did gift cards this year, so we were done last week.
Today I wanted to share more Christmas cards I've made. The first one is for a friend of ours. I made FORTY of them! It was tough, since I couldn't use ribbon, flowers or buttons, nothing girly! I clear embossed a Santa image and inked everything with a little gold and of course added glitter for the sentiment. You just have to have glitter on your cards, girl or not. :) I also printed a little Christmas poem that he chose for the inside. I hope he loves them, that was hard work, but I love it!

Just a word of advice, if you ever make that many, keep it simple! I thought mine was simple but I didn't really take into account all of the inking and matting!
The next one I made for my Granny. I learned my lesson the first time and tried to keep it simple. She only wanted ten so I splurged on the embellishments a little. I punched out snowflakes then covered them in Stickles and put rhinestones from the dollar bin at Michaels. I just love those things, bought them in every color! I also put Stickles all around the edges, the sparklier the better! Plus, my Granny loves glitter too! Then, I heat embossed Merry Christmas on the card with silver embossing powder. Last, I printed a little Christmas greeting inside hers also so she wouldn't have to write inside them.
Knowing me, this will probably be my last post before Christmas, so I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! Don't eat TOO much, I know I will!
PS: I lied. When I pulled that last picture off my camera, I found two other little projects I need to write about. So, I will be back, just don't know when! I'm cooking a turkey and dressing on Christmas Eve for Christmas with my mom. I've never cooked either before, so we might just be ordering pizza! Wish me luck!

Merry Christmas to Me!
Last week I was part of a blog hop for MY GRAFICO. They decided to have one for their customers and they gave away a free set and they gave it to ME! I chose one of Pregnant Lady Silhouettes, because I happen to know FIVE pregnant people right now and I'm sure I'll know more! If you would like to win free sets from them they have challenges on their blog every week, so check it out!
Also, I played a game that was part of a blog hop at Gingersnap Creations last week. You had to collect a word from each blog and form a famous art quote with the words. Well, I was going through my spam today and saw that I won that too! I won the 2009 Christmas plate from Hearts in Touch.
Isn't beautiful! I just can't wait to get it! Now, I'm off to play the lottery! just kidding!
