I haven't done one of these in a few weeks, so I thought I'd try again! This is Stacey's Jewelry Color Inspirations #43. The really like these colors together and they include pink, my fav! I used today's Mojo Monday sketch #93. It's not quite like it because I had a hard time making the scallops all the way around the frame, but it still turned out great! Hope you like...

Goodie Bag!!!
So, I was checking my email Saturday and I got an email from Karen who organizes the Nashville Scrappers and Stampers Meet-up group. They had a blog hop a couple of weeks ago and since I had just started my blog I put my name on the list. Anyways, I got an email from her saying that I got a goodie bag for participating! I was so excited, that's a first for me. Free scrappy stuff, yay!!! It should be here tomorrow or the next day and I can't wait! I'll take a picture of what I get and post it on here! I just had to brag. :) The meet-up is really cool. I've never actually gone to a crop, but they have them all the time and most are free and actually close to where I live and not an hour away. I hope to attend one someday, if I ever get a free moment, maybe this winter! Ha! You should check it out if you live around Nashville, and if not, they probably have one near you!
Another Birthday..
June seems to be full of birthdays! My Dad's birthday was the same day as Windy's so of course another man card to make. My dad loves music and is always playing around on his guitar so I thought I'd make a music card for him. Of course, I just bought that sheet music and what a wonderful way to use it! Since it's Christmas music, I just used a page that didn't have many words on it. A little ribbon (it was blue so its okay) and a couple of music notes and I was done! He liked it so much he's going to put it up in his man cave! How sweet is that! :) Here you go...
Flea Market
I LOVE the flea market! I've found some really neat things there lately, who doesn't love going through other people's junk! :) Last time I went I bought a bag of lace for $2.00 and I loved it all, some of it was really nice and there was quite a bit in the bag. So, this time I was determined to get more! I've found that if I have alot of something, I hoard it less and actually USE it! Crazy I know. Of course, the lady didn't have anymore lace!!! But, another lady did, and I got to chose which lace I wanted AND I got ten yards for a $1.00, how cool is that!!! I'm very easy to please. I was also looking for old pictures or postcards of scenes (not people, that's just weird). I found four very old postcards and a label for lady's stationary that I really liked. I also found a five foot string of little pearls and an old book of Christmas sheet music I plan to tear up. And guess how much I paid??? $7.25 for all of it! I think I did very well, not to mention the parking was free and I took my own drinks. I'm already packing around a diaper bag, might as well pack myself something too! Here's a picture of my loot, I will be going back next month.
Man Cards
I always have trouble making cards for men! With Father's Day last week I really had to think just to make the cards I needed. So when my MIL asked me about an encouragement card for a man at her church, I was lost. But, I did manage to come up with this and I really like it. It's kind of simple but still nice and very manly! I didn't put ribbon on it but I did staple some ric rac on it and it really finished the card off nicely! The picture really doesn't do it justice!
More Inspiration!
I'm back!!! Sorry its been so long! We've been sooooooo busy! Gotta love the summer time!
Anyways... You know how I made a card that looked like one of my daughter's dresses?? Well, I did it again! :) I needed a birthday card for my friend Windy for her 29th birthday. ;) Happy Birthday girl!!!! So, I thought this would be perfect! I think it looks alot like it. Tell me what you think!

Still busy...
I know I havent' posted a blog in a week (yikes) and I'm so sorry! Just when I think I'm going to just stay home and chill out, we end up having tons of stuff to do! Not that I mind a bit, I love getting out of the house and hanging with my friends, it just doesn't leave much time for blogging and card making. So, I've just been making cards, because the world would end if I didn't. And now I have to get them up here! And my computer is being an a**!!! It pauses every few letters I type and its driving me nuts! So, the whole meaning of this post was to let you know that I will hopefully get to post some cards tomorrow! But for now, I am going to BED!!! It has been a long long day!

Busy little bee!
I have been so bad about posting blogs! I have four cards to share so here goes!
This card was inspired by another one of Julia's cards. I just love all of her cards, I could scraplift everyone of them! (And I just might, hope she doesn't mind!) Of course I had to change it around a bit, but I still love it.
Next up! My husband's Father's Day card. You didn't think I was going to give him one he'd already seen did you??? Nah, I had to make him a new one. I thought this was sooo cute! I was going thru clip art looking for crowns, when I thought that would be great on a Dad card! And it was! Check it out!
Two more! I have got to start doing this nightly! Next up, a little inspiration!
"Grandma" bought my daughter some new dresses the other day and they are all so cute! I put one on her and got to thinking that it would make a such a cute card! (Sad, yes I know) So, I made it, of course. I didn't have quite the same pattern as dress, which I hate, but that didn't stop me! I thought it turned out great!
Here's the dress...
Last one! Hope you guys made it this far!
All White! Well, mostly....
So, I was at Michael's with my friend Hannah and I found these Prima Flowers, Nursery Tales Collection~Vintage Style Flowers. They are so neat looking! And me, being the nut that I am, I've decided to try to make some (because I'm weird like that, just ask Hannah). So I did, but mine are white. And I think they turned out pretty good! You can tell the difference, but I'm going to keep trying! So, here's the card I made with it!Alright!!!! I'm done and now it's time for bed! I can't wait to hear what you guys think of my cards!

Toile Toile Toile!!!!!
This is my fav. fabric ever! Anyone that knows me, knows this. I only have it in my daughter's bedroom though, you know husbands don't care much for it! :) So, when I saw this paper, I just had to buy it! (of course) Here is the first card I've made with it and I LOVE IT!!!!!! It also has lace and black velvet ribbon which make it even more yummy! The flowers are stamped onto creamy paper with tanish"Dune" colored ink and then cut out. I inked the sides more and then sprayed them with Glimmer Mist. I put buttons in the middle but I could only find one black one, so I took two shiny silvery gray ones and scuffed them up then inked them a little with black ink and Viola! The sentiment it just another lovely dollar stamp! I took a white pen and embellished the flowers a little more so they would show up better. I hope you love it!

Father's Day Cards
I'm feeling kinda crappy so I'm going to post this and then I'm going to bed!
Here are a couple of Father's Day cards I've made recently. Both of these are made with dollar stamps from Joann's. The ties are just some stickers I found flipping through my embellishments, I thought they were perfect!!
Be sure you check back tomorrow. I have a beautiful card I made today that I can't wait to share! It has lots of techniques I want to tell you about, so its going to have to wait! Good night!

Paint chips!
This weekend we went to Lowe's to price some stain. As we were walking down the isle I saw some paint chips and thought "Wow, those would be great color combos for cards!" So I snatched 'em! Here are two cards I made using them. The first one was inspired by Julia's card. You can't really tell from the picture, but the leaves are sprayed with my new favorite: Glimmer Mist! I've used it quite a bit lately and I just love the way it looks.
Then I made this card. I did not like this card at all but I added a couple buttons and well, its growing on me! Tell me what you think!

You're Purrrfect!
Ahhh...second post.
I made this purrfect little card for Kelly Jo's Color Chef Challenge #10. I chose Merlot as my punch color and I used a sketch from Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #72. I just had to use this stamp! I just bought it from the dollar bin at JoAnn's (a.k.a. a little slice of Heaven). You can always find great stuff there! And for just a dollar!!! Enjoy!

Jewelry Color Inspiration #40
Welcome to my blog! This is my first post! I've tried blogging on another site but you have to be a member to access it, so here I am!!! I'm excited!! (in case you couldn't tell)
Anyways... the first thing I'd like to share is my entry for Stacey's Jewelry Color Inspiration Challenge #40. I've already added it at the other site but I thought I'd put it here too. I was very proud of this page even though it's kind of plain. I hand cut everything on the page, even the letters. I love all these pictures so much! Who am I kidding I love all the pictures of my daughter, even the blurry ones. I stayed up all night making this, which was not a good idea, but we are teething right now and I desperately needed some therapy. I would love to hear what everyone thinks about it! Also, I am very aware that I have poor grammar and pitiful spelling, so if spell check doesn't catch it, you'll know! :)
